Pickled radishes are an amazing way to add a little crunchy zip to any of your favorite dishes, like: tacos, noodle bowls, and even barbecue sandwiches! For an added level of spice, put in 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes!

Ingredients

  • 5 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Place radishes into a half-pint sized jar with a lid.
  2. Heat vinegar and water in a non-reactive saucepan over medium heat, and whisk in sugar and salt until just dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and add black peppercorns. Let cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Pour liquid over radishes. Cover and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate!
